Mobile Resource Service

 

The Mobile Resource Service (MRS) was established with funding from FKACS benefactor, in memory of Patricia Walford. The MRS travels throughout Melbourne and outer metropolitan areas and rural Victoria to provide children's services staff access to quality multicultural and multilingual early childhood materials. FKACS members are able to borrow from MRS and purchase resources.

The MRS is funded by the Bicultural Support Program an initiative of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program funded by the Australian Government, the State Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and 'Friends of the FKA'.

Membership

The Mobile Resource Service (MRS) membership is available to access for an additional cost by all early childhood services funded by the state commonwealth governments throughout Victoria who undertake an FKA Membership.

As an MRS Member you will be entitled to:

  • Onsite borrowing
  • Professional advice and support
  • Access to resources available in our Richmond library brought to your doorstep
  • 3 visits and a pick up (Pick Up Metropolitan Areas/Rural Areas will receive a pre paid post pack)
  • Visits scheduled at a time and day that suits the service within reason
  • Purchase Sales Stock
  • Request resources to be delivered at scheduled visits
