Senior Children's Services Consultant

(Full time - 38 hour week to December 2010). We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced,qualified Early Childhood Professional with a well developed understanding of working with children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. This person will have experience in supporting and mentoring staff. They will demonstrate advanced skills in writing articles,developing and delivering training packages and providing support to Children's Services.

Starting salary: $65,975

The FKA Multicultural Resource Centre is currently recruiting members for the Casual Bilingual Program. The FKA Multicultural Resources Centre supports children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who are accessing Children’s Services.

• Applicants must be fluent in English as well as their first language
• All languages are required especially the following: Urdu in Ararat, French in Carrum, Japanese in Carrum, Malayalam in Long Gully Bendigo, Karen in Laverton, Bahasa/Indonesian in Clayton North, Dhivehi in Clayton, Mandarin in Warragul,  Dari in Shepparton and Mongolian in Central Melbourne.
• Experience with young children is preferred
