1. Senior Children’s Services Consultant

Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, qualified Early Childhood Professional with a well developed understanding of working with children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. This person will have experience in supporting and mentoring staff. They will demonstrate advanced skills in writing articles, developing and delivering training packages and providing support to Children’s Services.

2. Sessional Trainers – Casual

FKA Children’s Services is seeking to employ casual sectional trainers to assist with the delivery of their comprehensive professional development program across metropolitan and rural Victoria. Training for Trainers in specific training programs will be provided.

If you enjoy training and have the enthusiasm and motivation to support early childhood practitioners to enhance outcomes for children from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds we would like to hear from you.

Casual trainers will need to have:

  • Experience in delivering training
  • Recognised Early Childhood qualification
  • Advanced understanding of working with children and families from CALD backgrounds
  • Working with Children Check
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment

3. Casual Bilingual Program

Do you enjoy working with children?

 

The FKA Multicultural Resource Centre is currently recruiting members for the Casual Bilingual Program. The FKA Multicultural Resources Centre supports children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who are accessing Children’s Services.

Applicants must be fluent in English as well as their first language.

Experience with young children is preferred

All languages are required especially the following:

  • Harari in Fitzroy 
  • Laotian in St Albans
  • Mongolian in RMIT City Campus
  • Swahili in Shepparton
  • Tongan in Werribee
