Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) Child Care Consultancy

 

FKA Children’s Services is part of the consortia to support families who are learning English in the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). This program is funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) and led by AMES Victoria. Adults receive 510 hours of English classes held at an AMES venue or one of their partners which include; Swinburne University, Holmesglen Institute, Victoria University and rural institutes.

 

The AMEP Child Care Service provides support for families while they are attending AMEP classes. A placement in a Children's Service organised by the YWCA Victoria - Child Care Placement Service. Ongoing support and consultancy is provided by FKACS to the Children's Services staff and their families.
